This is a hybrid position working in the office Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday; and working from home Tuesday and Friday.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Work closely with Staff Accountants and Managers to ensure efficient and accurate financial reporting
• Prepare and review monthly financial reports to be used by management for key decision-making
• Reconcile and oversee critical general ledger accounts
• Acquire a comprehensive knowledge of the Company’s entities and assist in performing financial analysis and variance reporting
• Assist in year-end financial audit by preparing and reviewing audit schedules and interacting with auditors
• Ensure integrity of financial systems by working closely with the Director of Financial Systems and Information Solutions department to ensure accounting and reporting systems are maintained and functioning properly

• Able to complete assigned tasks with minimal direction
• Attention to detail and accuracy, very organized
• Possess strong planning skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
• Excellent computer skills (MS Office suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Oracle knowledge is a plus
• Solid understanding of financial and accounting principles (US GAAP) and financial reporting statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow, etc.)
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead team members
• Very high moral and ethical values
• Professional work ethic
• Demonstrates a sense of urgency when dealing with the needs of the Company, and has a desire to do the right things for the right reasons
• Self-motivated and a team player with a "can do" attitude
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting (MAcc or MBA a plus)
• CPA or CPA candidate a plus
