The People Development Project Coordinator - Intern is responsible for coordinating the training plan re-design project, partnering with the Technical Training team and Learning and Development Coordinator to create a technical training learning framework under the direction of the Director, People Development and Director, Training Compliance. This internship will be for 12 – 15 weeks in the summer of 2025 in Midvale, UT.

Responsibilities / Job Duties:
- Partner with the People Development and Subject Matter (SMEs) teams to review current training courses and plans
- Work with SMEs, technical trainers, SH&E (the safety team), and the operations managers to create a training framework for approximately 200 locations under the direction of the leaders responsible for ensuring training happens
- Make recommendations for a final training framework
- Assist the Learning and Development Coordinator in updating the learning management system (LMS) as directed based on the final framework
- Partner with the training compliance team to refine reporting as requested
- Assist in seeking out opportunities to help identify and create improvements in the overall Team Member experience
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Ability to work as part of a team, with strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong organizational and analytical thinking skills
Education:
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s Degree program with a focus on:
- Human Resources
- Learning and/or Organizational Development
- Information Technology – Learning Management Systems/HRIS/HTML helpful
- Project Management
- Cumulative GPA of at least 3.0
- Moderate Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook skills with the ability to learn in-house computer systems
