Loan Operations Quality Control Analyst is entry level position responsible for performing technical review of the Loan system for data integrity. This includes the coding for booking of new and renewed loans and daily loan maintenance accuracy. These responsibilities include but are not limited to review of loan documentation and loan approval documents, loan maintenance support documents to ensure correct identification of codes and system input.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Validate daily new loan report to loan packages received to maintain SOX controls.
Review new and renewal loan records on banks core processing system for booking accuracy.

Verify code accuracy utilizing the QC checklist for designated fields/information
Review loan tracking items on banks exception tracking system for key entry accuracy.

Verify data input for core system maintenance accuracy and support documentation.

SECONDARY DUTIES

The position performs duties specific to the position and other functions as assigned by management.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY

This position is not responsible for the supervision of staff.

ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL ACTIVITY

The incumbent is in a non-confined office setting in which they are free to move about at will. In the course of performing the duties and responsibilities of this position spends time writing, speaking, listening, lifting (up to 25 pounds), sitting, typing on a computer keyboard, and standing, kneeling and reaching.

The incumbent for this position may operate any of all of the following: telephone, copy and fax machine, adding machine, computer and related printers.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

These specifications are guidelines based on the minimum experience required to perform the essential functions of the job. Individual abilities may result in some deviation from these guidelines:

High School Diploma and 2 years of related experience; or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Work related experience must consist of Loan Operations department or Lending Assistant. Educational experience, through formal school or financial industry related curriculum, is required to be applicable to the financial industry. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
