Parts Stock Clerk - Kearny Mesa Hyundai

Job Summary:

The Parts Stock Clerk is responsible for maintaining an accurate inventory of all parts and supplies. This includes verifying incoming shipments, stocking shelves, and organizing parts into appropriate categories. The Parts Stock Clerk will also need to ensure that all parts are readily accessible to shop personnel and that any lost or damaged items are reported in a timely manner.

Essential Functions:

Receive and unpack incoming parts shipments.Compare parts received with purchase orders and invoices.Record parts received on the inventory system.Sort and store parts in the warehouse.Receive customer orders for parts and check stock availability.Pull parts from the warehouse and package them for shipment.Prepare shipping documents such as bills of lading, invoices, and packing lists.Monitor stock levels and reorder parts when inventory is low.Liaise with suppliers to resolve discrepancies or problems.Maintain accurate records of parts inventory.Follow safety protocols and quality standards when handling parts.Assist in the maintenance and management of the warehouse.

  • Maintain satisfactory attendance.

Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
  • Ability to perform all essential functions of the job description.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous stocking experience.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Demands: 

 

 

  • Regularly stands, walks, sits; uses hands; reaches with hands and arms; talks and hears. Occasionally climbs or balances; stoops, kneels, crouches, or crawls; lifts up to 15 pounds. 

Environment/Noise: 

  • Noise level is moderate.
