Overview: 

 

The Investment Data Integrity and Reporting Analyst will join a dynamic organization in support of investment operations and reporting functions for the Talcott General Account. Our Investment Data Integrity and Reporting Analyst role shall provide the selected candidate with significant professional growth and exposure to a robust investment reporting operation that spans a complex, growth-oriented investment platform. The selected candidate will assist in identifying and designing new data integrity checks and making enhancements to reporting. Additional key accountabilities shall include partnership with external Investment Managers on investment compliance matters. This individual shall partner closely with internal stakeholders to understand dynamic data needs. Additionally, the Investment Data Integrity and Reporting Analyst shall support the investment operations team on various operational initiatives.

 

Primary Responsibilities:  

 

  • Produce and review key investment reporting including Compliance Reporting, Board Reporting and Regulatory Reporting
  • Run daily quality control processes to ensure data is complete and accurate
  • Maintain living procedures and documentation for recurring reporting
  • Assist in ad-hoc reporting needs used within the investment management team to help facilitate investment decisions
  • Ensure all compliance rules including reinsurance agreements, investment management agreements and internal risk tolerance thresholds are established within our risk applications for timely and accurate monitoring
  • Adding value to various Investment Operations initiatives, especially during new business acquisitions

 

Qualifications:  

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree with a business major focus (finance, accounting, business administration, etc.)
  • Recent graduate with related background, internships or related experience is a plus!
  • Ability to perform research, analysis and interpretation of data
  • Demonstrated ability to manage tight deadlines within a highly matrixed environment
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office (Word, PPT and Excel)
  • Familiarity with MS SQL queries and strong Excel data manipulation experience
  • Keen attention to detail and ability to multi-task
  • Creative and proactive problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrate cooperation and collaboration in a team setting
  • Excellent prioritization and organizational ability

 

Compensation 

 

The annualized base pay range is mainly based on an evaluation of comparable positions in the external market. The actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range. The base pay is based on factors including but not limited to experience, competence, and demonstration of proficiencies essential for the role. The base pay is just one component of Talcott’s total annual compensation for employees. Other compensation may include annual bonuses, long-term incentives and recognition.

 

$72,000 to $96,000
