Are you an influential B2B sales leader prepared to lead and foster revenue growth? We're searching for an Area Vice President of Sales to join our team and spearhead efforts in surpassing sales goals. This role entails guiding a high-performing sales team, devising growth strategies, and ensuring customer satisfaction and success.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Achieve Revenue Targets: Lead the sales team in reaching revenue goals within assigned regions.
  • Market Understanding and Presence: Cultivate a deep comprehension of the market landscape, identify avenues for growth, and actively engage in industry gatherings.
  • Sales Team Management: Recruit, support, and guide a small team, establishing objectives and strategies for success.
  • Foster Sales Culture: Cultivate a positive culture that aligns with organizational goals.
  • Effective Communication: Clearly articulate our value proposition and go-to-market strategy both internally and externally.
  • Customer Relations: Strive to maintain customer satisfaction and success by strategically interacting with clients and resolving escalated issues.
  • Expert-Level Leadership: Successfully deliver multi-million-dollar solutions.
  • Relationship Development: Forge and maintain strong connections at all levels. The ideal candidate will be approachable, energetic, and motivating.
  • Proactive Risk Management: Take proactive measures to manage risks and encourage innovation.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree (MBA preferred).
  • Experience: 10-15 years of progressive B2B sales experience, with at least 2-5 years in Sales Management and a readiness for career advancement.
  • Sales Leadership: Demonstrate strong leadership abilities in sales and experience in motivating and managing sales teams.
  • Communication Skills: Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with clarity and conciseness.
  • Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of opportunities and challenges in the facilities industry.
  • CRM Proficiency: Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
  • Sales Proficiency: Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, along with effective negotiation skills for closing large deals.
  • Networking Abilities: Establish and leverage professional networks.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel 25-40% of the time, including overnight stays (primarily daytime travel).
