Department: Corporate
Location: Raleigh, NC
Hours: M-F 2P-10P (Must be flexible to work outside normal business hours)
Travel 80% within the market, 20% out of state

Position Summary:
The Regional Field Trainer will be responsible for training on industry technology and janitorial
procedures to front-line employees and managers.

The Trainer must be an effective communicator and trainer, capable of thoroughly learning and understanding technology-based applications and programs quickly to disseminate the knowledge to employees effectively. Advanced knowledge and demonstrated application of janitorial techniques and operations - such as floor and carpet care, restroom cleaning equipment and chemicals - is vital, as is experience in hands-on and web-based training.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Train on software and technology-based programs affecting the janitorial line of business
  • Assist in the development and execution of new (service/program) roll-out training
  • Responsible for training and organizing janitorial-related skills: equipment, routines, and best practices according to company standard operating procedures, chemical use according to chemical providers, safety in operations, and customer relations
  • Train and ensure learning objectives are met under the direction of corporate leadership and local management
  • Responsible for evaluating inspection data and training to overcome quality concerns.
  • Ensure the organization's programs and systems meet customer and regulatory/legal
    requirements.
  •  Monitor, measure, and review internal processes, especially those that affect the quality of the organization’s programs and services
  • Ensures the accuracy and timely inspections based on the Scope of Work
  • Train front-line team members on the competencies to perform work to company standard
  • Build positive relationships with branch, field, and site management
  • Train in person and virtually as appropriate
  • Teach the field safety techniques under the direction of Safety Manager
  • Manage multiple priorities, and problems solve and handle stress
  • Investigate and troubleshoot product and procedural issues
  • Ensure the detailed tracking of team member training for evaluation purposes.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or 7 years of relative work experience
  • 3 years of proven expertise training hourly employees
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) Preferred
  • Proven verbal and written communication, presentation and organizational skills
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proven computer and technical skills
  • Proven training experience in the janitorial, hospitality or fast-food industry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and preferably Google Suite
  • Proficiency with quality measuring tools
