Position Summary:  

 Maintains records of product in inventory and on order while monitoring reorder points initiating action for replenishment. Reconciles discrepancies in inventories and notifies of irregularities of products inside the freezer and fresh proteins performing the following functions.

 

 What you’ll do:

  • Compiles and maintains records of quantity, type, and value of product through Produce Pro

  • Counts product in stock and posts totals to Produce Pro

  • Compares inventories to P.O.’s purchased to obtain current inventory;

  • Verifies clerical computations against physical count and adjusts or investigates and reports reasons for discrepancies;

  • Compiles information on receipt or disbursement of product and posts inventory balance, price, and cost;

  • Prepares reports such as inventory balance and shortages;

  • Prepares list of depleted items and recommends survey of defective or unusable product;

  • Responsible for adhering to food security, food safety regulations and policies (SQF, HACCP, CGMPs)

  • Sorts and places products on shelves or bins according to a predetermined sequence, such as size, type, or product code.
  • Keep the freezer free of ice.
  • Available for other duties as assigned

About you:

  • Must be skilled in emailing, database management and comfortable using communication tools
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Certified to operate a standup electric pallet jack, stand up forklift and reach lift

  • Previous RF scanning warehouse experience with ability to lift 50lbs; 

  • Ability to follow instructions with minimal supervision;  

  • Dependable work attendance and committed to accuracy and attention to detail

  • Maintains a safe working environment and fulfills essential job functions in a consistent state of alertness and safe manner;

  • Able to work in cold temperatures ranging from -15 to 40 degrees.
