Position Summary: The Director Corporate Sales to direct the overall performance of the sales force.  Leading strategic planning and assuring outstanding CRM practices with accounts to maximize profitability is a primary focus.  Providing overall leadership on sales execution and assuring effectiveness of the Sales Team while establishing plans and strategies to expand the customer base in the territory, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

 

What you’ll do:

  • Accountable for sales and gross profit plans in the division
  • Monitor and evaluate Sales Associate performance
  • Develops a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability.
  • Prepares action plans for individuals and teams to execute on sales leads and prospects.
  • Leads development of action planning to penetrate new markets.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed.
  • Conduct sales update meetings on a regular basis
  • Assure execution of department goals and maintain accountability
  • Provide solid Customer Relationship Management
  • Provides timely feedback to senior management regarding performance.
  • Provides timely, accurate, competitive pricing on all completed prospect applications submitted for pricing and approval, while striving to maintain maximum profit margin. 
  • Assist Sales Associates in preparation of proposals and presentations.
  • Controls expenses to meet budget guidelines.
  • Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes
  • Work to support sales KPI’s while growing the business

 

About you:

  • Demonstrated leadership and skill leading major projects and high-end clients.
  • 5-7 years of experience in sales.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative leadership style.
  • A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace
  • Collaborative work style and commitment to top notch customer service
  • Demonstrated ability to train, coach and develop sales professionals
  • Great communication skills with external & internal customers
  • Delegate responsibilities and assist with personal / professional goal setting
  • BA in Business or related
  • Experience in food distribution a plus
