Essential Job Function:
Participate as a member of the Houston Texans (“Club”) Deep Steel Thunder drumline under the direction of the Deep Steel Thunder Director at Club home games, Club or Club-affiliate events as directed and attend all drumline rehearsals.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Attend and provide musical entertainment at all Club home games (pre-game, in game (half-time and other) and post-game, in various areas in and around NRG Stadium), specifically ten (10) pre-season and regular games and any post-season games.
- Attend and provide musical entertainment at other designated Club events such as Training Camp, Draft Party and other Club events and Club requested appearances as directed.
- Attend all required orientation, training and drumline rehearsals.
- Report promptly for all games and other designated Club events and appearances.
- Perform various other tasks that may be assigned from time to time by the Deep Steel Thunder Director or Game Presentation Manager.
- Subject to reasonable accommodations, position requires routine face-to-face personal interaction with other Club personnel; therefore, job responsibilities must be physically performed in the Club offices and not in a telecommuting manner.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- High School Diploma preferred.
- High school performance or marching band experience preferred.
- Formal musical education preferred.
- Collegiate or drum corps experience preferred.
- Professional level proficiency in playing a musical drumline instrument.
- Ability to heighten fan experience through musical entertainment and public interaction.
- Ability and internal drive to demonstrate a winning attitude and a strong work ethic in the performance of all job responsibilities.
- Job requires walking around and standing for prolonged periods of time in various Club premises in and around NRG Stadium and NRG Park, as may be assigned.

Physical Requirements:
- Occasional travel related to job duties and responsibilities.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to talk, stand, walk, sit, drive, bend, squat, climb, twist and reach as necessary.
