As a Housekeeping Supervisor to the swing shift, you will play a pivotal role in organizing our night housekeeping crew and overseeing cleaning operations. Collaborating closely with the Housekeeping Services Manager, you'll coach, motivate, and train our dedicated staff to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and efficiency. Your dynamic leadership will drive the team to achieve our goals in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Essential Job Functions:

• Strategic Planning: Craft housekeeping schedules and assignments that exceed expectations, ensuring our facilities shine day and night.
• Performance Enhancement: Lead by example in upholding Housekeeping Services cleaning standards through regular inspections.
• Resource Management: Conduct inventories and facilitate orders for essential supplies, guaranteeing seamless operations.
• Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all housekeeping machinery operates flawlessly through meticulous preventative maintenance and prompt repairs.
• Communication Excellence: Act as a liaison between staff and management, effectively conveying HR-related matters to the Housekeeping Services Manager and Facilities Director.
• Safety Advocacy: Uphold regulatory laws and safety protocols, conducting monthly trainings to promote a secure work environment and promptly reporting any concerns.
• Service Excellence: Demonstrate an unwavering commitment to providing top-tier service to our valued members, elevating their experience with every interaction.
• Collaborative Spirit: Foster positive relationships across departments, cultivating a cohesive and supportive work environment.
• Reliability: Maintain consistent attendance and reliability, ensuring smooth operations at all times.
• Hands-On Approach: Lead by example by actively participating in housekeeping duties as needed.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:

The role involves physical activities such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods, as well as occasional exposure to outdoor weather conditions. Additionally, proficiency in keyboarding and sitting for extended periods is required.

What You’ll Bring:

• Leadership Acumen: Demonstrated organizational and supervisory skills are essential. Previous management or supervisory experience is advantageous.
• Industry Experience: Five years of housekeeping experience in a similar setting is preferred.
• Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of custodial equipment, chemicals, and supplies is required.
• Communication Skills: Ability to effectively convey messages both verbally and in writing.
• Team Empowerment: Proven ability to motivate and develop staff, fostering a cohesive and high-performing team.
