We are currently seeking a Sr. Training Consultant. This is a full time, exempt role. This role has flexibility for a remote or hybrid model arrangement.

 

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Responsible for creating and delivering learning programs driven by business partners and team needs.  Consulting between Learning & Development and various business partners to design, develop and deliver learning priorities and solutions that positively impact our learner’s performance.  This includes learning programs, communications and measurement activities that support business objectives. 

 

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:

 

  • Plan, organize, and deliver learning programs at the discretion of team manager, including design and development of classroom and other learning resources.  Conduct program evaluation, ongoing program maintenance, creating communications in support of programs.
  • Consult with team members, business leaders, managers, and subject matter experts to provide training solutions and learning programs.
  • Conduct performance analysis to recommend learning approach and to modify existing approaches to close performance discrepancies.
  • Contribute to a positive learning atmosphere that fosters learning.
  • Train subject matter experts within the business
  • Mentor Training Consultants
  • Provide support for product and system release initiatives
  • Collaborate with business partners and other key stakeholders to assess training needs and learning gaps
  • Deliver innovative ideas and methods for training that best meet learners and business needs
  • Build underwriting programs and workshops as desired by the business

 

WHAT YOU NEED TO APPLY:

 

  • Experience in a Specialty line of business.
  • Experience in Specialty Underwriting concepts, practices, procedures, workflows, systems, and tools.
  • Ability to lead projects to closure with excellence.
  • Demonstrate effective communication, relationship building, and decision-making skills with the business as well as with managers in other areas of the company.
  • A high degree of initiative and effective organization and time management skills.
