As the Director of Stadium and Studio Production with the Tennessee Titans, you will oversee all event and studio production for games, touring, broadcast shows, and major events at Nissan Stadium, Ascension Saint Thomas Sports Park, and Titans House. Your role involves managing production operations and control room technology, coordinating back-of-house logistics, freelance labor, and equipment inventory, while ensuring strict adherence to standards and deadlines. You will lead a team of over 100 full-time and part-time employees, collaborating closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver outstanding service. This position is crucial in shaping memorable experiences and advancing cutting-edge technology as we prepare to open a state-of-the-art venue in 2027.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee production and provide operational expertise as well as management at Nissan Stadium, Ascension Saint Thomas Sports Park, and Titans House
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams (Marketing, Entertainment, Broadcast, Corporate Partnerships, Football Operations, etc.), tenants, and tour groups to design and support the delivery of presentation elements for all events, including those held off-site
  • Work with clients and event promoters to ensure game and event content is properly loaded, supported, and quality-checked for smooth and effective execution
  • Recruit, mentor, train, and lead a team of top-tier production professionals, including control room operators and freelancers
  • Manage the scheduling and coordination of production labor for all events, shows, and studio programming
  • Act as the point of contact for audio/visual and production requirements for games, special and major events including layouts, production operations, rigging and load-ins
  • Maintain a positive relationship with all clients and deliver excellent service, aiming to surpass the expectations and needs of both internal and external customers
  • Develop production plans for various events, covering timelines, equipment, staffing, and budgeting
  • Prepare event estimates and ensure accurate invoicing for event settlements.
  • Attend event planning meetings to gather relevant information needed to prepare the stadium and facilities for upcoming events
  • Document and maintain records of conversion data, including expenses, damages, schedules/ timelines, and event checklists
  • Assist in the design of New Nissan Stadium. Including RFP, selection, testing, and implementation
  • Other duties as assigned by the Senior Director of Production, Broadcast, & Technology

Qualifications: 

  • High School Diploma required. Degree in Audio, Production or related field preferred.
  • 7-10 years’ experience in production and/or studio operations i.e. stadium, touring, venue, house of worship, broadcast, studio.
  • 5+ years’ experience directly leading a team of production professionals, engineers and control room operators.
  • Expert knowledge of control room equipment and operations. Including but not limited to: Ross switchers and xPression, Evertz, Riedel, Dante, Digico, Sony Cameras and RCPs and PTZs, ETC lighting, EVS.
  • Ability to operate any control room position if needed, including Directing.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office user.
  • Advanced Adobe creative suite user.
  • Capable of balancing multiple projects and events at the same time while still delivering on-time and on-budget.
  • Ability to convey highly technical information to non-technical staff including senior leadership.
  • Sports experience a plus but not required.
  • Ability and willingness to work non-traditional hours including nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
