FULL-TIME POSITION
This is a temporary position and could turn into a permanent position for the right candidate.

Schedule will vary and may include weekends

***$20.00 - $22.00 per hour based on years of experience***

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent; minimum of two years in a production environment
• Food Handler’s Permit.
• Food Handler Card (if employee does not have a Food Handler Card when hired, it must be obtained within 14 days of the hire date).
• Interested in working in an environment with elderly adults.
• Knowledge of WISHA and Spokane County Health regulations.
• Ability to make appropriate substitutions to the menu when necessary and report such to supervisor.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Position Responsibilities: 

• Ensure profitability by maintaining an accurate record of baking operations.
• Manage needed supplies and inventory levels.
• Direct and supervise the production of daily restaurant levels and special events, making sure with Chef that products are up to standards.
• Ability to create, and execute both high-end and home-style desserts for lunch, dinner, and special events 
• Knowledge and ability to make and produce Danish, muffins and other assorted breakfast pastries
• Decorate baked products using glaze, icing, and other toppings to achieve a finished appearance.
• Assess the quality of raw materials before baking.
• Conduct research to develop original recipes for products.
