As a self-motivated team member, this position plays the leading role in developing positive, lasting guest relationships by consistently delivering an excellent experience.  The primary responsibility is guest satisfaction above all else.  A FOH Team Member must know the menus inside and out, play an integral part in the financial results of the restaurant, contribute to running side-work, and overall restaurant cleanliness and sanitation.  The FOH Team Members play an integral part in the success of the restaurant.

We look for people who:

• Minimum of 2 years high volume restaurant serving experience with a strong knowledge of service mechanics
• Experience as a barista would be beneficial
• Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the English language
• Must have a desire to serve guests and enjoy working as part of a team
• Must be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours)
• Must be able to safely lift and easily maneuver objects weighing up to 50 pounds
• Must follow safety procedures
• Must have availability to work on holidays and/or weekends

What you will be doing:

• Make guests feel comfortable and establish a personal connection.
• Know regular guests by name, their preferences and needs.
• Make thoughtful recommendations based on guest interaction.
• Accurately take food/beverage orders and enter them into the POS.
• Execute all beverage orders inclusive of coffee & alcoholic beverages.
• Deliver food and beverage orders to the standard always providing exemplary service.
• Communicate regularly with and respond promptly/courteously to all guest requests.
• Make sure the dining room is clean and presentable at all times by clearing, cleaning and resetting tables after guests leave.
• Check floor/bar/restrooms and clean as needed.
• Assist in dish pit by removing clean dishes from the dish station and stocking them in appropriate areas.
• Thank guests when leaving and inquire about their experience.
• Respond sincerely and appropriately to guest requests and communicate if necessary
• Flexibility during the shift to help ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant
