Custodian & Janitor

The Salvation Army: an internationally recognized non-profit, faith-based organization, has job opening for a part-time Custodian for the Metro Atlanta Area Kroc Center, located in Atlanta Georgia.

Job Summary

Cleans and maintains the buildings and grounds to ensure the neatness and cleanliness of the same on a daily basis.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

Ability to perform general maintenance and cleaning activities for buildings and grounds; Ability to follow instructions and work independently; Ability to read and communicate the English language.

Education and Experience

No formal education or experience required; Six (6) months experience performing general housekeeping duties; Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Certifications

Valid State Driver's License. 

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions.

Ability to meet attendance requirements; Ability to exert the physical energy required to performing housekeeping and minor maintenance work. Ability to perform continuous walking, stooping, standing, and climbing.
