About this opportunity:

Performs a variety of administrative support work for the Human Resources TSAMM team including the maintaining of the HRIS filing system of human resources documents; processes paperwork from the field and completes HR agendas on all status changes, transfers, field terminations, and new hires for temporary and seasonal positions. Performs the paperwork processes for Christmas and summer hires; Assists with verification of employment; performs a variety of clerical support work including routine typing and photocopying of reoccurring correspondence, forms, lists, logs, records etc. answers the telephone and provides general information regarding the department operations and/or services; assists with processing of incoming and outgoing mail.

Key responsibilities:

  • Inputs data and monitors and maintains the HRIS for system capabilities to be fully utilized while ensuring accuracy and completeness of employee records; produces various reports as requested/required.
  • Validates data integrity by ensuring LOR’s, HR paperwork and tracking spreadsheets accurately reflect workforce changes in TSAMM and DayForce.
  • Works with Divisional Sr. HR Generalist to ensure accurate processing of summer camp employees; ensures paperwork is received, processed, and approved.
  • Coordinates processing of Christmas seasonal hires and summer seasonal hires with each local unit in the Division; verifies data files received from Corps is accurate and complicit with seasonal employment policy. Prepares files for import into the Ceridian HRIS for mass terminations and personnel changes for seasonal hires as necessary.

What we are looking for in you:

  • Associates degree in Business, Human Resources or related field, AND
  • Two years’ experience working in a Human Resources environment, OR
  • Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

     * Prior experience or education in Human Resources is highly preferred.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

Work is usually performed in a normal office environment where there are little or no physical discomforts associated with changes in weather or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like, but not limited to an office environment due to travel requirements.
