About this opportunity:

Plans, prepare, cooks, and serves nutritious meals and snacks by established guidelines and schedules; ensures all meals are prepared and served in a safe and presentable manner; cleans kitchen facilities, equipment, and appliances; maintains an inventory of kitchen supplies and food in a neat and orderly manner.

What we are looking for in you:

• High School diploma or equivalent,

  And one year of experience cooking food for large groups, Or Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

Ability to meet attendance requirements. Ability to show up to work on time.
Ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language. Ability to cook, taste, and smell food.
Duties are usually performed by frequent walking and/or standing, kneeling, or squatting, relieved by lesser periods of sitting.

Physical ability to lift, carry, and/or push/pull light objects (less than 25 lbs.).

Work requires driving a vehicle daily with exposure to the outdoors where there are physical discomforts associated with changes in weather such as rain, cold, snow, and heat, or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like.

Work is performed in a typical kitchen environment where little physical discomforts may be associated with working around hot stoves/ovens or cold freezers.
