The Salvation Army, an internationally recognized, non-profit, faith-based organization, has a job opening for a Education Coordinator for the Boys & Girls Club located in Burlington, NC.

Job Summary 

Directly accountable to the Executive Director and Program Coordinator for the overall program of The Community Center including: planning and implementing education programs and working with volunteers.
 
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Must enjoy working with children, must possess good communication, an outgoing personality, and speak/write English fluently.
 
Education and Experience

  • Bachelor Degree required in Business, Marketing, Social Sciences or Education

    or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. 

Licenses and Certifications

Valid State Driver’s License

Commercial Driver’s License

 
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions  

Ability to meet attendance requirements.

Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language. 

Work is performed in an indoor and outdoor recreational environment where there are little or no physical discomforts associated with changes in weather such as rain, cold, snow, heat or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like.
