Position Overview:

The Executive Support Technician is an on-site position. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional executive-level technology support to senior executives and directors across the organization. The specialist will work directly with Chamber leadership and their teams to ensure that every aspect of the technology experience is seamless. The specialist will be a self-motivated problem solver with a command of Mac and Windows environments and able to anticipate issues and plan for contingencies. This person will be comfortable working across all levels of the organization, a great communicator, and well skilled in endpoint, communications, and audio video technologies. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-level IT support both on-site and at remote locations.
  • Demonstrate high standards of professionalism and integrity and protect and maintain the privacy of employee information.
  • Comprehend, troubleshoot, and resolve the technological challenges faced by the CEO and other executive staff in their daily activities including Mac OS, Windows OS, printers, and conference solutions.
  • Explain technical issues in nontechnical terms to end users.
  • Work with the executive support and the IT leadership teams to develop a strategic support plan and technology roadmap for our leadership team’s technology needs, including travel and other off-site engagements.
  • Ability to work in an environment that may occasionally be stressful, maintaining excellent communication and customer service.
  • Develops ideas for new and improved solutions based on business needs.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a college or university with 3 years of experience providing desktop support services to senior executives or 5 years of user support experience in troubleshooting hardware and software issues or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Professional experience managing projects and providing global support to end users.
  • At least 3 years of Apple configuration and support experience (e.g., iPads, iOS, iPhones, MacBooks).
  • At least 3 years of professional experience with the Microsoft 365 Office Suite, Office for Mac, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Active Directory, Windows, and Mac environments and have a solid understanding of networks.
  • Professional experience with VOIP, mobile technologies, and network environment, specifically TCP/IP preferred.
  • Professional audio video systems experience.
  • Professional experience setting up, installing, cabling, and maintaining executive home offices, including all networking equipment (e.g., Apple, Cisco, VoIP).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with little to no supervision.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
