SUMMARY: As part of a leading MRO, the Component Service & Sales Leader is responsible for establishing and maintaining open and direct contact with customers for the purpose of executing sales and supporting the sales team goals and growth initiatives. Works pro-actively to identify and engage with potential customers to expand sales activities. Owns customer relationships, works with product line managers and department managers for pricing initiatives. Coordinates, tracks, and reports customer data, trends, and sales opportunities. Collaborates with OEM/supplier and technical support resources to ensure proposed business include technical solutions that accurately address customers needs and are appropriately supported both, externally by the OEM and internally by all functions involved.


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Answers and prepares communications for quotes, orders, and other customer requests
  • Reviews and assesses customer requirements in collaboration with internal departments and external supplier(s)
  • Reviews and processes orders, ensuring all customer requirements are met
  • Enters quotes, tracks activity and follows-up on open customer requirements
  • Pro-actively scopes the technical solution required to address customer requirements, assesses customers needs are met and recommends optimum solution
  • Develops and maintains relationships with customers
  • Provides training to customers as needed
  • Identifies and develops growth opportunities for assigned accounts
  • Searches for new leads maintaining client potential in designated regions and/or markets
  • Coordinates with other departments to meet plan and assists with customer requirements
  • Supports product line and sales management in day-to-day tasks
  • Performs other duties as assigned or required

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, related field of study, or 2+ additional years of experience in lieu of education
  • Technical knowledge in Aerospace with the ability to read prints, CMMs, Service Bulletins and publications
  • 4-6 years of related work experience in customer service and/or business development
  • Excellent time management skills with ability to organize and manage multiple and competing priorities
  • Ability to work independently with little to no supervision in fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, particularly Outlook and Excel
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Fluent in English

 

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience in actuation systems or similar aerospace related products (i.e., landing gears, APU’s, LRU’s)
  • Proficiency in Quantum Component Control
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerBI
