SUMMARY:  Responsible for the planning and execution of day-to-day and month-end Treasury activities including managing the company’s cash flow forecast, identifying cost-saving and profit maximizing opportunities. Designs and implements best practices in treasury processes to support the growth of the company.  Responsible for managing a team to create the vision, strategy and standards by which the Treasury department provides leadership and value to the organization. Manages all banking needs.
 

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identifies opportunities and implement Treasury-related business process improvements
  • Monitors and establish company-wide Treasury policies/internal controls
  • Drives/supports the initiatives to optimize banking infrastructure and cash management processes
  • Collaborates with IT in establishing and maintaining Treasury technology solutions including required interfaces, to support cash management activities
  • Manages cash management functions including cash flow forecasting and analysis, preparation of the daily cash report, daily borrowings and repayments
  • Oversees daily cash positioning activities including managing daily liquidity, cash position reconciliation and bank reporting
  • Monitors quarterly and annual compliance with loan agreements
  •  Reviews, approves and releases electronic disbursements
  • Leads the Treasury month-end close process including the review and accurate recording of weekly cash activity to the General Ledger
  • Monitors and oversees existing bank account services and signatories including bank account administration for opening, migrating and closing accounts
  • Effectively works with and supports internal business partners including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Legal, Tax and IT
  • Other duties as assigned

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or business-related field of study
  • 10+years of treasury, finance, or cash management experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in a management level position, building and leading high-performing teams.
  • Highly organized, with focus on process discipline.
  • PC literate in MS Word and Excel
  • Demonstrated problem solving and work prioritize ability
  • Strong analytical, financial and systems skills are required including advanced spreadsheet and modeling skills
  • In-depth knowledge and experience of Sarbanes Oxley.
  • Knowledge and experience with federal and state financial regulations.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop presentations for Management and familiar with Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated ability in meeting multiple daily deadlines
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, including verbal and written skills

 

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

  • Treasury workstation and bank software experience.

 

OTHER:

  • Ability to travel
