Quality Assurance Inspector II

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

• Addresses with manufacturers missing or illegible certification documentation, shortages, or any other issues with parts/documentation 
• Works with internal groups (Sales, Quality, Purchasing) to resolve Certification document issues and part discrepancies 
• Coordinates with customer on Return Material Authorizations (RMA) process 
• Assists with internal rejections and Return to Vendor (RTV) process
• Communicates with vendors to obtain required information (RMA, Certs, Shipping method)
• Proofreads paperwork for traceability for part number, lot number accuracy and test requirements before scanning into system
• Maintains certification files and digital file systems
• Completes the on-hold process, including managing events in system, and escalation to required departments
• Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma 
• 2-3 years of relevant/technical work experience.  
• Detailed oriented, well organized, self-motivated and must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook and scheduling applications
• Fluent in English, with strong written and oral communication skills
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

• Associate degree 
• 4+ years of work experience  
• Knowledge of Quantum Component Control or another ERP system 
• Previous experience in aerospace inspection or audits 
• QA inspection knowledge in QA methods
• Knowledge of ISO/ASA audits

OTHER:

• The selected applicant will be subject to a background check and drug testing.
