Under close supervision, the Customer Database Associate is responsible for maintaining the assigned databases and processing intercompany orders. This position is also responsible for assisting with coordinating hardware shows.
  • Set up new accounts and update customer information in the system for the Unites States Customer, Salesperson, Organization, and Mass Marketing databases. Assist with contract pricing program via Copy List Plan Program.
  • Coordinate and process all matters related to the facilitation of inter-company orders including plant to plant, plant to customer, and subsidiary to customer order fulfillment.
  • Process orders and ensure all appropriate promo codes and promotion attributes are applied. Perform basic promotion queries.
  • Maintain special pricing, terms, and conditions for all Retail Hardware shows.
  • Provide general customer support for both Tech Support and Quality Control personnel.
  • Investigate accuracy of information submitted on POS reports and troubleshoot data when necessary.
  • Ensure orders are processed and maintained with approvals and released timely.
  • May assist with Canada database management, promotion set up, and contract price set up.
  • May process promotion payment (coop) as needed. Investigate accuracy of information submitted on coop claim forms and obtain all necessary approvals for processing payment or credit request.
  • Cross train and provide assistance to team members as needed.
  • Perform other duties as required within the nature and level of work.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma and one (1) year of related experience are required. Experience with PRMS, AS400, BOSS, or Varsity preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Office suite of applications. Must be able to multitask, manage shifting priorities, and work independently and with others. Ability to work in fast-paced and high-stress environment. Ability to communicate effectively both verbal and written.
