Central’s internship program is customized to each internship placement. The program provides members with dedicated time to gain first-hand experience while solving unique business problems. Each internship will be different; however, at its core, the program consists of the following opportunities:

Underwriting Internship
- Opportunity to complete assigned tasks and projects that may include but not be limited to analysis of underwriting solutions, product performance, and competitor data
- Work independently on projects and present project results
- Showcase professional skills and creativity through discovering solutions
- As assigned, travel with experienced Central Underwriting, Loss Control, or Distribution personnel to area insurance agencies and businesses
Ready to dive in? Ideal candidates for this program are:
- College major relevant for a position in the insurance industry such as: Business Management, Insurance or Risk Management or other related majors
- Interest in insurance underwriting related careers
- Motivated to accomplish big things while demonstrating the upmost level of integrity
- Curious to seek out new experiences, knowledge and feedback
- Insightful and interested in analyzing information and suggesting new possibilities
- Engaged in open communication to share a vision and build meaningful relationships
- Adaptable and determined to strive for excellence despite challenges
- Strong PC skills
