We are looking for a Director, Field Marketing/Sales to join our team.

What You’ll Do

  • Manages a team of Marketing Managers for each region providing accountability and facilitating communication between the Regional Managers, Doctors and Practice Directors
  • Develops annual sales growth and local marketing plans, including targeted market segments, community/business partnerships and advertising with the Marketing Managers, Regional Managers, and Marketing Support Services to deliver against new patient exam and experience metrics
  • Collaborates in the creation and implementation of the annual promotional and event calendar
  • Develops and implements appropriate marketing programs congruent with the Smile Doctors network of brands and brand architecture to increase brand awareness, acquire new patients, improve digital traffic leads, increase conversion rates and increase patient referrals
  • Coordinates Continuing Education Events with Marketing Managers, doctors and speakers.
  • Develops local market promotions and events to drive incremental qualified leads
  • Oversees the planning and support of grand openings, patient appreciation and anniversary events
  • In partnership with Media Strategy, develops and manages specific local advertising initiatives relative to print, radio, television, billboard, etc. to maximize investments and new patient exams
  • Oversees the management of the monthly media scoreboard and effectively communicates to Regional Operations Directors and Doctors
  • Develops patient experience recommendations and corresponding in-clinic marketing communications/programs
  • Collaborates with Affiliations, Finance, Operations and third-party agencies to drive marketing tactics and to coordinate efforts among all functions and channels
  • Develops first-hand knowledge of market dynamics and opportunities by spending time in market identifying business potential and corresponding marketing programs
  • Develops with the Marketing Managers and clinic teams ongoing local market competitive analysis and reporting and provides real time recommendations to address

 

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or business-related field
  • Ten (10) years of experience leading and executing strategic Marketing and Advertising initiatives and programs required, preferably in a fast-paced healthcare environment
  • Five (5) years of experience leading and developing a high performing team of Field Sales and Marketing professionals required
  • Five (5) years of sales experience in healthcare preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and experience interacting with teams in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary, team environment
  • Able to effectively problem-solve and apply forward-thinking solutions to increase the results of the business
  • Intermediate Computer skills in word processing, spreadsheet, database management, content management systems and desktop publishing applications.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as creative writing and negotiation skills
  • Experience in generating presentations and proposals
