About the Role

MacLean-Fogg, a values-driven company, places Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) at the heart of our operations. We are looking for a passionate EHS Manager to join our dedicated EHS team. In this critical role, you will help drive our Mission Zero initiative by supporting the design and implementation of world-class EHS systems. As an EHS Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring compliance, reducing injuries, and enhancing environmental performance across our facilities.

What You’ll Do

  • Support the Environmental, Health and Safety Management Team in implementing and overseeing EHS processes.
  • Develop and maintain systems to promote continuous injury reduction and enhance environmental performance.
  • Coach and mentor line leaders and plant safety teams on their EHS responsibilities.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local environmental, health, and safety regulations, including OSHA/EPA requirements and ISO-14001/ISO-45001 certifications.
  • Conduct hazard and risk assessments and develop strategies for risk mitigation.
  • Review and update internal EHS policies, practices, and procedures.
  • Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and track action item closures to prevent recurrence.
  • Deliver and manage EHS-related training programs.
  • Maintain accurate and organized EHS documentation, including permanent files.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current in EHS regulations and best practices.
  • Report directly to the Site General Manager and provide key support to the EHS Steering Team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, Chemistry, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental, health, and safety roles within a lean manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local EHS regulations and standards, particularly those from OSHA and EPA.
  • Demonstrated success in driving safety and environmental compliance initiatives.
  • Experience with EHS management systems and certifications (ISO-14001/ISO-45001).
  • Proven ability to lead change with a relentless focus on execution and safety excellence.
