Job Summary

The IT Infrastructure Manager will lead a dynamic team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. This role is responsible for shaping and executing IT strategies that support the company's business goals, with a strong focus on systems architecture, digital transformation, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of IT infrastructure in a manufacturing environment and the ability to drive projects that enhance system stability, scalability, and security.


Job Duties

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute IT strategies that align with business objectives, driving digital transformation and fostering innovation across the organization.
  • Systems Architecture: Design and implement robust IT systems to optimize manufacturing operations and business processes, ensuring high performance and scalability.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and manage a team of IT professionals, promoting a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Provide guidance and support to encourage professional growth.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee daily IT infrastructure operations, ensuring system stability, security, and scalability across the enterprise.
  • Project Management: Lead IT projects from initiation through completion, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver on time and within budget.
  • Vendor Management: Evaluate and manage relationships with technology vendors, negotiating contracts, and ensuring that partnerships optimize IT performance and cost-effectiveness.
  • Integration Leadership: Lead IT integration efforts during mergers and acquisitions, ensuring the seamless transition and integration of systems and technologies.
  • Compliance & Documentation: Ensure full compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. Complete all necessary documentation accurately and timely.
  • Continuous Improvement: Uphold and promote 5S standards, maintaining a clean and organized work area and following all safety, environmental, and quality protocols.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other responsibilities as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the IT and business operations.
  • Travel Requirement: This is a hybrid-eligible position and requires up to 30% domestic travel.

Experience and Education

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field, or equivalent work experience. 
  • Experience: 6+ years of proven experience in IT management, with a strong emphasis on infrastructure, systems architecture, and digital transformation. Experience in manufacturing IT systems is a strong advantage.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performing IT teams.
  • Technical Expertise: Advanced knowledge of server technologies, Cisco networking, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Microsoft Entra/Azure. Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, CompTIA Security+, PMP) are desirable.
  • Project Management: Strong project management skills with experience leading complex IT initiatives.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
