Sr. Training & Technical Specialist

Flexco, a leading global manufacturer, is seeking a Sr. Training and Technical Specialist, to work on their BCP marketing team. The chosen candidate will collaborate with numerous teams for marketing product support, development and updates. This individual will participate in a wide array of marketing and sales projects. Prior experience interacting with conveyor systems will be a huge plus!

Purpose:

To provide expertise and VOC feedback to engineering, sales, customer service and marketing to enhance product development. Also, to provide advanced technical product support, specification input, troubleshooting, and product training globally to internal and external customers.

 Flexco is interested in you if you have:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical experience
• MSHA certification preferred but not required
• A proven track record of experience in heavy duty conveyor markets
• Experience installing belt cleaners, trackers, load zone, lagging and belt maintenance tools
• Experience working with common shop tools and equipment

 What you will need:

• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Exposure to working conditions in industrial environments without environmental controls.
• Ability to travel with short notice, up to 40% of the time, including international travel.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• The ability to create and deliver well-structured and engaging presentations.
• The individual should be able to adapt their presentation or training approach based on the needs and preferences of the audience.

What you will be doing:

• Support product marketing/training initiatives (50%)
• Support product development and product updates (30%)
• Provide technical expertise to Flexco sales organization, distribution channel, and end users (20%)
• Develop and maintain expertise on all HD BCP and Belt Maintenance Tools
• Ensure all other global HD field resources are knowledgeable on all HD BCP and Belt Maintenance Tools
• Provide product selection, troubleshooting, installation guidance
• Participate in the resolution of product performance issues (PPIs) through technical review and VOC
• Other projects as assigned
