National Sales Manager - Security Services

About us (Blue Chip Pros):

Blue Chip Pros is a domestic janitorial, security and facility care company dedicated to the highest standards of quality and integrity. It was founded in 1986 and has proudly grown to employ over three thousand employees and currently operates in 50 states. We are seeking a professional National Business Development Manager with security experience to help grow our security services division.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Be part of a growing sales team tasked with building our security division with flexibility to cross sell all service lines.
  • Position is primarily work from home if not traveling for business development or client relations.
  • Create new client relationships, build on existing relationships, collaborate with other departments.
  • Schedule meetings with potential clients via networking, BD platforms, emails, cold calls, or advertisement.
  • Be willing to travel for meetings and sales appointments as needed.
  • Able to complete basic security assessments and offer create solutions to prospective clients.
  • Tour/walk facilities and buildings as needed.

Qualifications:

  • 3 years’ experience in a regional or national sales position with a security company based in NY or OH or

3 years’ experience in a physical security management position overseeing a minimum of 4 million in yearly gross revenue.

  • Educational requirements: Bachelor’s degree in any field or a combination of higher education and military/Law Enforcement experience.
  • Live in the States of NY / NJ / OH preferred.

Skills Required:

  • Computer knowledge to include proficiency in Microsoft programs (Teams, word, excel, power-point, windows) and internet research.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skill.
  • Ability and desire to succeed and thrive in a high-pressure environment.
  • Ability to own a sales cycle from start to finish.
  • Ability to complete detailed RFPs and price sheets as needed.
  • Contribute effectively on a team; work collaboratively with all departments and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work remote / autonomously.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Present to clients virtually and face to face as needed.
