With two venues now open and a diverse lineup of programming, we’re looking to elevate the fan experience to new heights. This role demands a visionary who can craft and execute world-class sports, art, and entertainment programming using cutting-edge technology and fan engagement strategies, all while maintaining brand integrity and delivering successful partner activations.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the creation and execution of all in venue presentations across Cosm’s venues, ensuring every moment enhances the fan experience.
  • Partner with the VP of Marketing and General Managers to lead cross-functional planning, driving long-term growth for Cosm venues.
  • Inspire the fan to continually innovate, finding new ways to enhance in venue entertainment and engage fans year after year.
  • Implement regular evaluations to ensure presentation elements—video, sound, performances—meet high standards and deliver exceptional fan experiences.
  • Work closely with marketing and branding teams to develop compelling, on-brand in-venue content that aligns with our overall strategy.
  • Collaborate with Cosm Media and Venues team to design promotions that maximize fan engagement and excitement.
  • Stay ahead of the curve by researching and securing new talent from the music and entertainment industries for experiences.
  • Oversee budgets and allocate resources effectively to support initiatives and production needs.
  • Foster a culture of diversity and inclusion, making sure all fans and team members feel welcomed, valued, and heard.
  • Prioritize safety in every aspect of operations, ensuring a secure environment for both employees and fans. 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • 5-7 years of experience in live sports entertainment or a related field; sports experience strongly preferred but not required (think Cirque du Soleil, arts).
  • 3+ years in a management or supervisory role in live entertainment production, including staff development.
  • Deep understanding of current sports trends and the ability to integrate them into engaging game day entertainment.
  • Willingness to work extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed to meet the demands of game day.
  • Strong oral and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to walk, sit, and stand for long periods while directing events in an arena setting.
  • Comfortable working with technology and computers in a fast-paced, arena environment.
  • Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs.

The annualized base salary range for this position in California is $140,000-$180,000 The base salary offered will factor in internal equity and may also vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and relevant experience, among other factors.
