JR Claims Adjuster
Primary Responsibilities:
The JR Auto Claims Adjuster is expected to
• Provide claims support to customers.
• Be a teacher to support the efforts of other employees to be successful.
• Seek ways to provide superior support to customers and team members.
Reports to: Auto Claims Manager
Primary Duties – Assist the Claims Specialist in the following duties:
• Manage and maintain acceptable claim loss for dealership zone.
• Review and approve contract claims.
• Negotiate and pay repairs at outside repair facilities for out of area travelers.
• Assist with dealership contract training.
• Explain contract coverage for components and labor. Authorize applicable repairs.
• Maintain good working relationships within TCA, the dealerships, and customers.
• Operate with integrity.
• Demand the highest ethical standards from self and others.
• Set an example of outstanding attendance, positive attitude, professionalism, including orderly and safe work environment.
• Communicate and resolve customer complaints to appropriate management.
• Perform other projects and tasks requested.
Job Requirements / Education / Technical Skills:
• 3 – 5 yrs previous auto field experience
• Basic math skills
• Strong Clerical skills
• Ability to work independently and with a team to meet deadlines and accomplish goals.
• Basic communication skills needs both written and verbal.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Previous use of ADP applications helpful.
Physical Requirements:
• May be required to sit for long periods of time.
• Physical requirements include but are not limited to sitting, standing, visual attention, and occasional lifting.
• Mental requirements include but are not limited to the reading of related material, visual attention, and attention to detail.
