Beverage and Chemical Equipment Specialist

The Beverage and Chemical Equipment Specialist is responsible for maintaining current relationships with our existing customer base through the maintenance of beverage and chemical equipment (drink stations, commercial coffee makers, dishwashers, etc.). This position is also responsible for supporting our sales team by providing product knowledge of beverage and chemical items and expanding our customer base through the acquisition of new accounts. 

• Maintain existing relationships with beverage and chemical equipment clients and develop new accounts
• Work with sales team to help develop their knowledge of beverage and chemical items and assist with growing sales
• Install and maintain beverage and chemical equipment at customer locations as required
• Represent Ben E. Keith with professionalism by maintaining a positive and highly motivated attitude and uncompromised character

Job Qualifications:

• Ability to write reports, correspondence, and communications. 
• Ability to effectively present information to vendors and employees in a written and/or verbal format
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects, assignments and tasks, monitoring use of time and appropriately using equipment, facilities and materials to provide timely and quality responses
• Ability to learn and use all Ben E. Keith applications
• Ability to operate independently with little to no direct supervision
• Two years of outside sales and knowledge relative to beverage and chemical products
• General plumbing and electrical knowledge required to properly install and maintain beverage and chemical equipment.
• Knowledge of and ability to competently use MS Office, internet and email and display a willingness to learn new software as needed
• Valid New Mexico driver’s license is required for driving to perform company business
• Must be able to pass a background check (MVR and Criminal) and pre-employment physical and drug screen
• Must be available to travel as needed to include overnight stays and work weekends as required to maintain and establish customer relationships
• High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
