Risk Management Assistant

Position Summary and Responsibilities: 
The Risk Management Assistant is involved in the pre-employment new hire processing. You will assist the Risk Management Managers as needed. You will work out of the Corporate office in downtown Fort Worth, where parking is provided.

• Assist in claims and incident management as dictated by volume
•Input claims information and documentation into our incident repository, Origami
• Produce claims reports as needed
• Assist with payment reconciliation and issuance of payments via On Base, our accounting software
• Verify invoice payment status and check for duplicates
• Assist with compiling and verifying Summary of Charges to all divisions
• Work with all TPA’s and medical providers to obtain needed documentation for claim files
• Create litigation files as needed 
• Create spreadsheets to validate data and claims information as needed
• Answer phones
• Assist our teammates in safety as needed
• Adhere to our established paperless claims protocol

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

• 6-12 months office experience
• Confidentiality strictly maintained
• Excellent phone presence and customer service required
• Computer Skills – Windows, Word, Excel and Outlook.
• DayForce proficiency 
• Organizational Skills/Able to multitask
• Neat and Professional Appearance
• Must be able to be at work on time every day as scheduled.
• High School Diploma
• Work in a collaborative effort with all departments within BEK as needed

Physical Requirements: 
• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards. 
• Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 lbs.
