Summary:
Cosm is looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Compensation and Benefits Analyst to join our team. We are looking for an experienced individual who is passionate about developing compensation & benefit strategies to attract, motivate, and retain top talent. The successful candidate will be an analytical thinker, able to evaluate complex data, and possess strong business acumen.
Responsibilities:
Benefits
- Responsible for the day-to-day administration of Cosm benefit plans and programs.
- Leads the setup of new plan designs and enrollment profiles for open enrollment in Dayforce (HCM)
- Coordinates with Cosm’s benefits broker to resolve complex employee insurance benefits issues.
- Coordinates and leads employee benefits education sessions
- Answers employee questions and provides information to employees related to the organization’s benefits, policies and programs.
- Ensures the timely processing and reconciliation of benefit invoices
- Coordinates with Accounting to reconcile employee insurance deductions and benefit plan funding.
- Assists with 401(K) Plan annual audit and IRS 5500 filing
- Administers leave of absence programs (FMLA, STD, PFL)
- Tracks and identifies ACA eligibility; process ACA 1094 and 1095 forms.
Compensation
- Summarize, organize, and analyze People data (survey data, hiring metrics, turnover metrics, etc.) from multiple sources to represent trends, patterns, and insights; summarize the findings in a clear and concise manner.
- Create visually appealing, informative, and presentation-ready data decks or dashboards
- Participate in salary surveys and analyze data from survey sources to determine competitiveness both internally and externally.
- Design and prepare ad hoc compensation and budget related reports for management.
- Assist in preparation of the annual merit increase and incentive programs.
- Evaluate positions to determine classification, exempt and nonexempt and salary grade.
- Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure compensation programs align with company goals.
Experience:
- 4-6 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in an HR or People Data analysis capacity
- Extensive knowledge of designing and managing compensation and benefits programs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, ensuring a high standard of quality and integrity of data analysis and reporting.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, working towards common goals and deadlines
- Flexibility to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive and solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to identify issues, propose solutions, and implement improvements
The annualized base salary range for this position in California is $80,000 to $105,000. The base salary offered will factor in internal equity and may also vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and relevant experience, among other factors.
