Summary:
The FP&A Manager will manage forecasting, reporting, and analysis for our Los Angeles and Dallas venues. The Manager will build partnerships within Cosm and work cross-functionally to analyze venue performance and maintain forecasts to track the company's financial health. This role will support decision making through financial analysis and thought leadership.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with venue leadership, scheduling, operations, sales, strategy and accounting to analyze performance and to build monthly forecasts for Cosm Venues.
- Deliver monthly business updates, analyzing performance by event, identifying trends and providing key insights to management.
- Analyze, track, and communicate KPI’s, revenue, gross margin and performance daily by event.
- Analyze operating expenses by cost center and review with venue leadership team to understand spending plans and retrend monthly forecasts.
- Build and maintain a Capex forecast for each Cosm venue.
- Refine monthly financial reporting package to provide better financial visibility to management.
- Partner with Accounting to provide the proper classification of transactions, assist with monthly accruals and reconcile reporting data.
- Provide additional analysis as requested.
Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in FP&A, Accounting, or related field.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally to problem-solve and achieve goals.
- High proficiency in MS Office, including an ability to maintain complex Excel models and create Powerpoint presentations.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate financial information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principals.
- Experience with SAGE Intacct or related cloud-based ERP systems.
- Consistently demonstrates a commitment to Company policies and procedures, including but not limited to attendance, confidentiality, conflict of interest, and ethical responsibilities.
The annualized base salary range for this position in California is $105,000 to $140,000. The base salary offered will factor in internal equity and may also vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and relevant experience, among other factors.
