The Project Manager will be responsible for a variety of tasks and projects as assigned. Typical tasks will range in size and complexity. This position will be assisting the Director of Growth and Development with various large-scale projects and tasks as needed. You will oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation.

Duties Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and update projects
  • Project task Management
  • Develop and maintain project file system (physical and electronic)
  • Vendor contact to obtain project specific information
  • Estimate ROI and vendor costs based on estimating tools and or works with others to develop estimates.
  • Negotiate with contractors or vendors to receive reasonable order costs
  • Progress tracked weekly and turned in at the end of every week
  • Scheduling vendors
  • Weekly budget tracking and review
  • Review invoices from subcontractors to confirm production and accurate accounting
  • Work with Accounts Receivable and Billing Department to make sure all revenue is accounted for and accurate
  • Forecasting month and year for each project and program
  • Set up new projects based on business needs
  • Work with internal/external support groups to set up projects in accounting system
  • Utilize and provide to management meaningful and timely reports using key performance indicators to aid in managing the health of the project.
  • Removing obstacles and empowering Operations to be successful
  • Constantly managing and monitoring project progress, risk and quality of the project.
  • Coordinate project level activities based on importance
  • Proactively identify and resolve potential issues before they become problems
  • Lead efforts to gather all project level status and report on program status.
  • Forecasting and management of materials to facilitate the scheduled work on time and under budget.
  • Other Project Management related duties as assigned by manager.

 

Qualifications and Skills

  • Four-year college degree or work experience equivalent
  • Ability to work from home and come into the office as needed
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to analyze business processes and to find individual solutions and make recommendations to their supervisor
  • Ability to handle multiple items effectively
  • Ability to make common sense understand to carry out instructions.
  • Ability to deal with and understand problems involving different variables in many varied situations.
  • Ability to collect, organize, disseminate, and analyze significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to speak effectively to customers, vendors, and coworkers up through all levels of management and staff.
  • Must have strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Must have general computer knowledge.

Experience Preferred

  • Minimum two years of direct experience in Project Management preferred
  • Ability to work well with others on time sensitive projects
  • Experience in the restaurant or QSR space is preferred
  • Experience negotiating agreements with vendors and suppliers
