Design Receptionist

Viera Builders, Inc. has an opening for a part-time hourly paid Design Receptionist working in a fast-paced, professional environment.  The Design Receptionist is responsible for the homeowners’ customer experience through initial contact to maintaining the Design Studio appearance and Design Studio café, inventory of Design Studio samples, walk-in traffic, and supporting the Design Coordinators and Director of Design. Utilizing advanced technology and exemplary customer service are the hallmarks of this position.

Duties include:

• Serve as front desk receptionist, greeting customers and answering the phone. Offer refreshments.
• Open and close the Design Studio. Maintain the tidiness of the front receptionist area, conference room and café.
• Maintain showroom appearance of Design Studio via inventory, labeling, ordering of new samples when necessary. Maintain and organize office supplies.
• Sign buyers in on preview day and update the preview sign in sheet. Conduct buyer tours providing a preview of our design selections. Assemble preview packets and replenish preview folder documents. Answer buyer questions.
• Prepare and maintain specification sheets.

The work schedule for this part time position is Saturday 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. and Monday 10:30 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.

A High School diploma and a minimum of one or more years in Customer Service, Administrative, and/or Interior Design. In addition, the following skills are required: Excellent organizational and administrative skills; professionalism; strong experience with Microsoft Office Suite programs; strong phone, customer service and communication skills (written and verbal). Must be a team player.
