Housekeeping Team Lead - Northland Heights

We are looking to hire an experienced housekeeping supervisor to oversee all duties performed by our housekeeping staff. The housekeeping supervisor’s responsibilities include training staff, assigning tasks to the housekeeping staff, scheduling and attendance of staff , monitoring inventory of cleaning supplies and ensure that the staff complies with all safety and sanitation policies.

Housekeeping Supervisor Responsibilities:

• Cleaning, stocking, laundry duties.
• Training new housekeeping staff
• Assigning housekeeping tasks to staff and inspecting work to ensure that the prescribed standards of cleanliness are met.
• Investigating and addressing complaints or concerns regarding housekeeping service.
• Ensure training of housekeeping is timely and documented.
• Regularly taking inventory of cleaning supplies and ordering stock as needed.
• Issuing cleaning supplies and equipment to housekeeping & laundry staff as needed.
• Effectively communicating with the Director of Maintenance

Housekeeping Supervisor Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 6 months housekeeping or housekeeping supervisor experience required.
• Working knowledge of housekeeping.
• Proficient with computer based work.
• The ability to multitask.
• The ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Effective communication skills.
