Billing Analyst - Venue

The billing analyst performs contract and billing preparations for an engineering team. They coordinate with clients and Venue sector project & program managers to setup projects, obtain necessary purchase orders, and navigate through the hurdles of billing approvals. They work closely with Henderson Engineers accounting team to finalize invoices and assist with completion.

Duties:

• Obtains client purchase orders and sets up projects/phases to match client needs.
• Performs monthly billing reconciliations.
• Maintains the project database.
• Prepares various reports for management such as outstanding accounts receivables and collections.
• Prepares invoices ensuring contract terms and fee schedules are met.
• Troubleshoots billing problems and offers constructive solutions to billing inquires.
• Views mistakes and change as a growth opportunity.
• Recognizes gaps in personal knowledge and enthusiastically pursues opportunities to learn something new.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field required
• Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience required
• Architecture/Engineering/Construction or Professional Services industry experience preferred
• Experience with Deltek Vantage Point accounting software and Concur preferred
• Knowledge of accounting functions and processes
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
