Overview: Enru Logistics and Postal Optimization is seeking a highly skilled Transportation Program Manager with a strong background in 3PL and trucking operations. Demonstrated ability to build high utilization across company and independent contractor drivers. The ideal candidate will be process-driven, focused on continuous improvement, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This role requires a tech-savvy professional who is committed to achieving operational excellence. You will play a key role in building a network of high performing asset light trucking operations while ensuring DOT compliance and safety standards.

This role sites hybrid in Atlanta reporting to the Atlanta consolidation facility three times a week. This position reports to our Director Transportation- Operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Management: Scale and oversee transportation programs from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance with DOT regulations.
  • Operations Oversight: Manage daily operations, focusing on asset utilization, route optimization, and service quality to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Operations Optimization: Manage asset-based transportation operations to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Implement strategies to optimize fleet utilization and service delivery.
  • Compliance Management: Ensure all transportation activities adhere to DOT regulations and safety standards, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of compliance requirements. This includes managing a growing fleet of leased trailers.
  • Owner Operator Management: Onboard and oversee owner operators, ensuring they meet contractual terms and compliance standards.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service delivery.
  • Technology Utilization: Leverage technology and data analytics to streamline operations, track performance metrics, and drive decision-making.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including logistics, finance, and customer service, to achieve operational objectives.
  • Data Analysis: Utilize technology and data analytics tools to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), perform root cause analysis, and inform decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Transportation, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in transportation management, with a focus on operations and asset-based experience.
  • Strong understanding of DOT regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Proven track record in process improvement and operational efficiency.
  • Experience managing owner operators and carrier partners.
  • Proficiency in transportation management software and data analysis tools.
  • Excellent multitasking and time management skills.
  • Familiarity with carrier scorecard methodologies and key performance metrics.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
