Production & Manufacturing Technician - RMA Manchester, TN

Purpose

To lead the safe and efficient production of quality material that meets customer requirements.

Areas of Responsibility / Tasks  

Performance must reflect appropriate level of expertise and achievement of the desired results for the items listed below:

1. General Policy

1. Compliance with Standard Operating Conditions (SOC) and Work Package Instructions.
2. Move, load and package Raw and Finished Goods as required.
3. Ensure quality sample collection, molding, lab testing & SPC data entry to determine product conformity.
4. Complete box sheet correctly with box numbers, finished end temperatures, correct weights, and indicate whether the box is “Conforming” or “Non-Conforming”.
5. Ensure that boxes are labelled correctly – Product ID, correct weights and any other customer requirements.
6. Error-free, safe and timely change-overs.
7. Keep a clean and safe work area.
8. Follow all Quality, Safety & Environmental Procedures.
9. Operate a forklift in a safe manner at all times.
10. Uphold the Ravago Code of Conduct standards.
11. Other duties as assigned by the Team Leader.

Minimum Qualifications/ Education / Experience / Certifications

1. Education:

1. High school diploma or equivalent.

2. Experience:

1. Required to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions and procedures.
2. Required to work comfortably with basic math skills.
3. Must be able to follow work procedures.
4. Must be able to pay close attention to detail.
5. Must have the ability to read, speak and write in English efficiently.
6. Must have the ability to operate a fork truck.
7. Comfortable working in a Production, Factory, and Manufacturing environment. 

Competencies; Knowledge, Skills, Abilities (KSA)

To perform this role successfully, an individual must have experience achieving desired result(s) in their areas of responsibility. 1. Must be comfortable working in a shared space, with constant noise, with/or without the use of a private office.
2. Must be comfortable working in a non-climate controlled environment.
3. Schedules may vary from week to week based on business demands in excess of 40 hours with or without notice.
4. All injuries regardless of severity must be reported to your Supervisor/HR immediately.
5. Production, Manufacturing, and Factory experience preferred.
