Job Title:Non – CDL Driver

WHAT WE DO?
Our power sweeping solutions include sweeping parking lots, streets, and highways as well as construction, industrial, and special event sites. Our fleet uses the latest mechanical broom sweepers and regenerative air vacuum trucks. In addition to being the leader in professional power sweeping, SCA also provides state-of-the-art jet-vac services where we can perform collection, system preventive maintenance cleaning, and identify infrastructure issues before they occur.

• Location: 1104 Spring Hill Rd, Knoxville, TN 37914
• Hours: Monday through Friday from 8pm to 6am
• Rate of Pay: $18 per hour

Job Responsibilities:  

• You will operate Sweeper equipment and be required to inspect them daily to ensure safe operation.
• You must be comfortable with completing work in oncoming traffic. You will have protection by TMA vehicles.
• Duties to include driving a pickup truck, physically picking up debris, and placing in caged bed of truck.
• Clean various highway locations in and surrounding metroplex assigned daily.
• Required to make numerous stops and exiting truck to remove debris/trash from highway shoulders and adjacent edges of highway shoulders.

Job Requirements:  

• Valid Driver’s License
• Good Driving Record
• Must have a medical cad or have the ability to obtain one
• Ability to pass employment and random drug tests
• Ability to follow directions and read maps
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. occasionally  
• Proper work attire (pants, shirt with short sleeve at a minimum) and work boots
