What does an HR Field Support Manager at Swire Coca-Cola do?

 

Swire Coca-Cola’s success depends on the success of the individual, and with that in mind, strengthening talent across the organization is a key transformational theme in HR’s long-range plan. The HR Field Support Manager will work closely with a team of Field Support Specialists and manage their end to end daily needs. They will work across the business to provide consultation, manage existing processes, and lead projects to accomplish that goal

 

Team Leadership:

  • Oversee a team of Field Support Specialists and manage their day-to-day needs
  • Prioritize individual growth and development of the team’s people and careers
  • Represent the company to the team through effective communication and ownership of the message
  • Hold team members accountable to their goals and expectations

Deliver Human Resources Solutions:

 

  • Participate in decision-making process that determines which priorities the field support team will be asked to emphasize.
  • Aggregate feedback from your team on how initiatives are received at the site level to help influence the above decision-making process
  • Lead your team to adapt to that feedback accordingly
  • Form strategies that allow field support to drive adoption of HR initiatives (such as development initiatives, annual HR processes, policy/procedure changes, etc.)
  • Guide your team as they roll out relevant HR information to employees and leaders (such as upcoming key dates, policy changes, etc.) leveraging the communication tools and channels best-suited to their various populations

 

Represent Employees

 

  • Be present. Spend time with your employees as they work with the front lines of the organization
  • Provide counseling to your team in questions of day-to-day HR operational matters

 

Support Managers

 

  • Coach and support your team as they coach people managers on HR matters (such as coaching for development or improvement, policy interpretation, tool usage, etc.)
  • Ensure fair, equitable and consistent application of all company policies and procedures

  • Builds strong relationships with your team members and key people you support
  • Has the courage and candor to coach and consult and, where necessary to direct or correct
  • Inspires, motivates and influences a team. Understands the value of this approach in team leadership
  • Can influence the direction of the HR function through participation in governance councils or transactionally as needed
  • Able to analyze and understand complex situations, balance the needs of key stakeholders, and deliver the appropriate response
  • Is flexible and resourceful, and resilient in the face of ambiguity


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in business, HR or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 8 + years of general HR experience
  • 2 + years of leadership experience
  • Multi-site responsibility will require 25% travel
