SUMMARY: Responsible for the development, expansion and performance of all sales & service activities in assigned market; establishes plans and strategies to expand existing customer base, expand market and segment penetration; (Specializing in Regional and Air Cargo market segments).

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop a sales & service strategy for assigned market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability
  • Prepares action plans for effective search of sales & service leads and prospects
  • Assist in development of action plans and execute such plans to penetrate new markets
  • Provide timely feedback to sales and executive management regarding performance
  • Assist in development of competitive pricing while striving to maintain maximum profit margin
  • Create and conduct proposal presentations and assist team members in similar activity
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes
  • Maintain accurate records of all pricings, sales and activity reports for assigned customers, markets and segments
  • Responsible for the daily activities as it relates to assigned sales
  • Provide friendly, fast, and flexible service to our customer base
  • Responsible for providing or coordinating technical support to customer when called upon
  • Responsible for assisting in the preparation maintenance of daily, monthly, quarterly sales/budget plans
  • Travel as deemed necessary by sales / executive management
  • All other activity assigned by sales / executive management

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Bachelor Degree
  • 4+ years of relevant/technical work experience OR
  • or an additional 3-5 year specific work experience in lieu of degree.
  • Knowledge of marketing strategies.
  • Ability to communicate technical and customer specific information properly and clearly.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and scheduling applications.
  • Ability to travel and work alone or remotely without supervision.

 

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

  • 8+ years’ experience in Aerospace or related industry.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems, preferably Quantum.
  • Familiarity with KPIs and KPI related systems.
  • Proven track record of sales growth
  • Previous negotiation skills related sales and customer requirements/requests
  • The selected applicant will be subject to a background check and drug testing.
