Sr. INFOR (M3) ERP Business Analyst

SUMMARY:

Under general direction, operate as a subject matter expert (SME) in INFOR Cloud Suite Distribution Enterprise applications focusing on M3.  M3 Modules used include Supply Chain, Sales/Order Management, Purchase, Distribution / Requisition Orders and Finance. Act as the businesses’ expert INFOR consultant and a primary liaison between the business and IT. Leverage your INFOR functional expertise to ensure the business is taking full advantage of INFOR’s features and capabilities and all upcoming INFOR changes support current and future business workflow requirements.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Act as an INFOR solution liaison between departments such as Finance, Supply Chain, Sales, Warehouse Operations, and IT.
• Work hand-in-hand with Wheeler business users and IT to implement INFOR customizations and personalization supporting the evolution of a stable, highly functional ERP environment.
• Investigate, analyze, communicate, and document business processes and business requirements.
• Support product customizations, modifications and related consulting/training activities surrounding Infor M3 applications (and related third party) technologies and tools.
• Work directly with department contacts to understand business needs, propose solution options, and draft functional solution specifications.
• Work directly with the Wheeler INFOR solution architect to ensure all proposed changes are supported and consistent with Wheeler standards.
• Work directly with the Wheeler INFOR release administrator to ensure department SMEs are prepared for upcoming changes.
• Act as the expert business representative to ensure all planned INFOR changes are compatible with department workflows and business requirements.
• Research solutions using the INFOR support portal and community and provide results to IT and business SMEs.
• Provide day-to-day support by handling assigned helpdesk tickets in a timely manner.
• Help the IT team monitor the current environment and proactively identify conditions that may lead to instability.
• Develop ad hoc reports as needed.
• Provide ad hoc and or formal M3 application training to department users.
• Help plan data migrations, data cleansing and validation.
• Help support production through the configuration of M3 modules (finance, purchasing, manufacturing, distribution, warehouse management).
• Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer information systems or related field and a minimum of four years as an Infor M3 business analyst/functional consultant.
  • or an additional four years of relevant work experience in lieu of degree.
• Minimum three years professional experience supporting INFOR Cloud Suite Distribution Enterprise environment in multi-Tenant and considered an expert or highly proficient.
• Minimum four years professional experience configuring and supporting INFOR M3 applications such as Supply Chain, Sales/Order Management, Purchase, Distribution / Requisition Orders and Finance.
• Certified or equivalent experience in Infor M3 topics surrounding supply chain management, purchase order management, customer and customer order management and finance.
• Minimum four years’ experience converting business requirements to functional specifications.
• Minimum four years’ experience providing informal and/or formal training.
• Consulting experience preferred, but not required.
• Experience with Birst reports, INFOR update methodologies, data refresh and validation desired.
• Experience with INFOR Warehouse Management System desired.
• Experience configuring and supporting INFOR integrations with third party applications desired.
• Proven record of success with problem solving, demonstrated by an ability to troubleshoot INFOR business problems and identify solution options and alternatives.
• Positive attitude, enthusiasm, and flexibility.
• Ability to travel to Wheeler locations to work directly with business contacts when needed. Travel expectations are less than 10%.
