Wharton-Smith, Inc. Construction Group, a highly regarded General Contractor based in Central Florida, is looking for a Workflow Specialist to work in the corporate office located in Sanford, FL

 

Job Summary:

Daily job functions related to system administration of various software platforms, including but not limited to running reports, researching issues, configuration of the software, and updating other departments. This role will coordinate technical projects between the systems and the user communities, conduct needs analysis, and help facilitate the identification of process improvements, system design, testing and implementation of technical projects.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Day to day administration of our project management software, RedTeam.
  • Monitor key activities throughout the day and act on issues promptly.
  • Coordinate with RedTeam’s development teams to design, develop, and implement quality project solutions that fit our business needs.
  • Works with internal and external resources to troubleshoot and fix issues.
  • Communicate progress, anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation to management, identify, assess, track, and mitigate issues/risks at multiple levels. Coordinate communication with all enterprise areas that impact the scope, budget, risk, and resources of the project.
  • Participate and support in user acceptance testing through creation of test plans, creation of test and use cases, execution of testing scenarios, and evaluation of test results.
  • Creates user manuals and tutorials for applications and works with business leaders to roll-out training programs.
  • Evaluate user requests for enhancements to determine feasibility, cost and time required, compatibility with the current system, and computer capabilities.

 

Required Knowledge/Skills

  • Must be detail oriented and able to complete all assigned tasks with a high degree of accuracy
  • Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to be a team player and take on various tasks as needs arise in the department
  • Must have intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook, and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong technology skills. Advanced experience in Excel preferred (Pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.)
  • Sage 300 CRE, Event1 Software, Paperless, HH2, RedTeam, iScout EHS application knowledge is helpful but not required.
  • Develop financial reports using Crystal Reports and provide report writing support to other Crystal Report user preferred but not required.
