The Canadian National Sales Manager leads a team of sales representatives working across all provinces to achieve company sales performance goals in Canada.  They are responsible for sales strategy implementation, promotional development and execution, and maintaining key relationships with distributor partners, contractors, and other types of B2B end users.

  • Lead a team of Independent Sales Rep Agencies to grow sales performance in all Canadian Provinces
  • Maintain productive relationships with all National Accounts and Large Regional Distributors
  • Develop value-supported relationships with numerous large Contractors, Industrials, and MRO Customers
  • Lead achievement of sales quotas within the assigned region, including quotas for new products and promotions. Continually prospect for new customers and channels of distribution. Supports sales events as assigned.
  • Develop and execute promotions to support sales of legacy and new products
  • Compile a comprehensive understanding of each account's culture, key personnel, and direction
  • Develop and implement sales plan using data analysis provided from internal teams and deliver a sales activity report on a regular cadence to direct manager
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Associates Degree Required, Bachelors Degree preferred with at least five (5) years of Sales experience is required. Previous Canadian sales experience is desirable.

Must have versatility and flexibility in adjusting to changing business needs and priorities, and strong communications skills, verbal and written. This includes basic knowledge using Microsoft Office to include Excel, Word, and Outlook. Strong team focus and ability to work with others, both internal and external to the organization. Must be bondable, and possesses a valid drivers license at all times.

Occasionally required to stand, walk or sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
