Industrial Maintenance Technician - 1st Shift

SUMMARY STATEMENT

Perform general maintenance work on the building grounds and equipment.

DUTIES

1. Maintains and repairs plant structures and machines, electrical systems, heating systems, air conditioning units, sprinkler systems, ventilating systems, and plumbing.
2. Performs carpentry, masonry, welding, sheet metal work, millwright work, and other maintenance work as needed.
3. Paints structures or equipment as needed.
4. Keeps machines and work area clean.
5. Performs work in accordance with instructions and schedules.
6. Performs additional duties as assigned by supervision.
7. Conduct PM’s as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Must have two-years working in the field or graduated from a vocational/technical school.
2. Must be able to pass the General Maintenance test.
3. Ability to understand and follow detailed oral and written instructions and procedures in the English language.
4. Basic math and English skills.
5. Ability to successfully pass forklift certification, boom lift, scissor lift.
6. Must be able to read prints and specs.
7. Must be able to work well with others.
8. Must be at least 18 years old.
