The Human Resources Coordinator performs various human resources duties by assisting and supporting recruiting, training, employee development, onboarding processes, benefits administration, and additional administrative human resources tasks. This position will also be responsible for providing general guidance to employees regarding human resources policies and procedures while managing administrative projects and management approvals.
  • ​Monitor and track temporary workforce through managing spreadsheets and maintaining data accuracy.
  • Process temporary workforce payroll, termination and new hire notifications.
  • Schedule and track meetings, employment interviews, appointments, internal activities for the department.
  • Prepare and collect all required documents to support new hire orientation. Enter all new hire information for all locally hired employees into HRIS database.
  • Provide support in enrolling new hires in their benefits, provide assistance to current employees with benefit issues and questions, maintain benefits databases for the site and audits them for accuracy.
  • Process employee changes to ensure compliance with policy and procedures, and generate reports for management using HRIS databases. Enter in new hire information and process terminations.
  • Manage the attendance line, notifications, and tracking of employee absences for attendance policy compliance.
  • Assistant the training and development team with plant training by setting up meetings and communicating with local operations/plant managers and managers regarding training details.
  • Ensure that human resource files and records are maintained and properly filed. Verify I-9 documentation and maintain the files.
  • Receive and redirect telephone and written communications and visitors as appropriate to support departmental and plant activities.
  • Support other salary staff and hourly employees on Human Resources activities, to include employees.
  • Prepare, type, and edit a wide variety of correspondence from offer letters, notes, instructions and general direction.
  • Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports as assigned . Compile special reports and analysis, selecting appropriate data from various sources, as directed.
  • Routinely handle communications of a highly sensitive and confidential nature. Ensure security of same at all times by developing and maintaining necessary measures and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • ​One (1) year of related work experience required. Bachelors Degree required.
  • Bilingual proficiency preferred.
  • Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word). Experience in using Human Resources information systems (Ceridian Dayforce), applicant tracking system (Ceridian Dayforce), and performance management system (Saba) is preferred.
  • Must possess excellent customer service skills and strong attention to detail. Demonstrate effective verbal and written communications. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Demand Requirements
 
​Occasionally required to stand, walk or sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear; taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Travel Requirements
